Sponsorship Hall of Fame

IMG_0752Evan began competitive swimming when he was ten years old  and continued to compete through all four years Lincoln High School, where he was selected as co-captain during senior year. Evan was chosen to represent Rhode Island three times at the National Special Olympic Games during which he won three (3) gold and two (2) silver medals in swimming. He was also honored as the 2010 Rhode Island Special Olympics Athlete of the Year.

Evan’s desire, enthusiasm, and passion for swimming were inspirational and contagious to all members of his swim family. Evan was inducted into the Rhode Island Aquatic Hall of Fame alongside Olympians and national champions in 2016.

Hall of Fame

To celebrate his life, the Evan Robertson Miller Scholarship Fund has created a sponsorship Hall of Fame for companies and individuals who want to contribute to the scholarship.  A $1,000 sponsorship includes recognition in the foundation’s Hall of Fame displayed in the tournament program, on the banner at the reception, and on the foundation’s website.
